QUESTION #3 : What does this book make you wonder about? Why?

RESPONCE 1: This book makes me wonder if there is such a thing in the world as a Personal Legend and if what you want can be made if you ask it to the unvierse. This book is like weird... but I like it. Paulo Coelho talks about in this book how people change and why and he makes Santiago learn all this on his way to Andalusia. Then he has to change his path because some old man tells him that he was "turning the wrong path" and about to quit on his mission in life. I wonder why the author made this book so... it just makes you think alot about if what he tells you in the book is right. Santiago's dream is read by this lady.. she checks his palm and says that Santiagos dream means he will find a treasure in the pyramids of Egypt.

I have had dreams that I find treasure too..and umm.. I havent really found it. I kind of do believe in what Paulo Coelho says in the book... I mean not all of it...but he just like makes you belive with what he says... The author relates alot to sugjects like god, magic, and the world in general. This book is really interesting it just want to think its real like all about Personal Legends and stuff. IF this is "real" than I wonder what else is real and I think isn't. This book just brings many questions into your mind.

QUESTION #9: What is confusing in this book? Why? [BE SPECIFIC]

RESPONCE 2:
A part in the book that I thought was confusing... is every time the author changes the setting and likes does like small flashbacks. Or when he changes the day and adds a little * thing. Also to read this book you really need to pay attention to understand what its trying to tell you. For Ex. " EVERY FEW DECADES A BOOK COMES ALONG THAT CHANGES THE LIVES OF ITS READERS FOREVER" Its like okay... um didn't really change me. I think. Well those aren't Paulo Coelho's only confusing quotes, "Treasure is uncovered by the force of flowing water, and it is buried by the smae currents." Also this I think is my favorite quote in the book that isn't so confusing but then again it kind of is.
"Every-one when they are young, knows what their personal legend is. At that point in their lives, everything is clear and everything is possible. They are not afraid to dream, and to yearn for everything they would like to see happen to them in their lives. But, as time passes, a mysterious force begins to convince them that it will be impossible for them to realize their Personal Legend." This book is confusing but if you re-read the cinfusing parts then you'll like get the meaning of the book, and what Paulo Coelho is trying to like tell you or explain.
