Choice 1: Pretend you have special powers and are able to transform yourself into your book. Where would you put yourself and why? How would you being in the book change the story? Remember you are yourself in the book, not a character.
If I could go into my book and just do whatever I wanted I would follow the main character of the book which is Santiago and follow him towards the treasure. The story would be completley different because Santiago wouldn't be the only main character, I'd be the second. Also I would have control over what happend because I could just do it. The book would be way better if I was in it... but it would be really random and one second I could be with Santiago the next the author Paulo Coehlo would have to right, " And Claudia walks away.... then Santiago feels bad and follows her" The author would have to say so many things for Santiago and the whole books meaning would change because of me.
I think I would ruin the book... the book now tells you about Personal Legends and life I would just want to play around and talk to the characters until they walked away I would also drag more characters into the book making it more fun... but then if you want the book to only change a little bit then I would walk up to Santiago near the end but before the alchemist and after the merchant and tell Snatiago that I too want to follow my Personal Legend and want to join him in his Journey of finding treasure in the Pyramids and I also want to meet and Alchemist. In that way the book would still stay good.. maybe, but it would also be different because I'd still be me and that would mean the author couldn't be able to control me unless I agreed.
