1. In the beginning of the chapter, what does Piggy tell Ralph to do with the conch?
Call a meeting. And Ralph does it. They After all needed to after Simons death and the theft of Piggy's glasses. In the meeting Sam, Eric, Ralph and Piggy talk about the truculently attack at the feast.
2. What reason will Piggy give Jack for the return of his glasses?
He can't see with out them and Maurice, Roger and him didn't play it fair this time. They crossed the line. The cessasion around Piggy and Ralph and the twins made Ralph and Piggy wonder why they had raided them again. Jacks hunters took Piggys glasses... they knew then... but they did not take the conch.
3. What does Ralph declare their appearance will be when they approach Jack?
They will be clean and act like civilized people unlike them the hunters. Its like they are going to face evil but act like they set a tailsman for the four of them.
4. Who challenges the boys on their approach to Castle Rock?
Not Roger really because it was supposed to be him but I think it was the hunters.... and Jack especially.
5. When Jack appears, what has he been doing?
He came with strangely a delirious looking feeling. He has been with Roger and also just sayin Jack Merridew has been with long hair and painted face since chapter 7 which is called long hair and painted faces. When he is painted he's a diffrent person. A savage.
6. What does Ralph call Jack that provokes a fight?
Ralph calls Jack a theif. They call each other over for a while like, "Come on then..." which to me is like saying, " Bring it on!" but noone brings it at least not yet. So Jack swoops toward Ralph then they actually bring fists.. but Jack has more peopl on his side... He took the twins. Sam and Eric didn't mind- they were like planning on going back to Jacks tribe with the hunters. So the fights goes on until....
7. What happens to Samneric after the fight?
Well its like in after because technicall they are still "fighting". Anyway Sam and Eric are then decided to be on Jacka hunter tribe.
8. What is Roger doing during Piggy’s plea for a return to decency?
So Roger is throwing rocks and he throws them at Ralph. When they first came Roger threw them but missed on purpose because he knows its wrong but its like evil is taking over him.
So Roger is both guilty and half innocent. So first of all he threw/pushed the huge rock so yes it was Roger.. but you've got to say he didn't reallly know who he would kill or if anyone was down there. I think he was pushing the rock annonimously just like he did when he was throwing the rocks- He purposly missed because he knew it was wrong. And my evidence is he is known to throw things and purposly try to miss. Just like when Percival and Henry were at the sand area.. he wanted to throw something at them but had been told all his life not to so doing it now still wouldn't feel right for him. And also just then he missed throwing it to Ralph lots of times too. It so happens that Piggy was exactly where the rock landed. The rock had been tiping since the first time they found Castle Rock. Yes Roger accidently killed Piggy and the conch- and if he did it on purpose I am guessing its because Jack would be like super mad at him and trun the hunters against Roger.... Roger was supposed to take care that anyone that came was smushed whether it was the beastie, Ralph and Piggy or his ex-hunters Sam and Eric.
I give Piggys death to Roger. Whether it was an aciident or purpose he pushed the rock-or it tipped and he was up there. So I guess you could say its his responisbility.

Hey I like the way you used all the words. I also like the way that you saw that roger way missing on purpose and that he ht them by accident.
