I think that this book To kill a Mockingbird is mainly about race. It deals with so much race between white people and black people. Tom Robinson a black man is accused of rape and goes to court for it. Its obvious that he didn't rape the nineteen year old girl but since he's black and she's white he is automatically guilty according to the jury and every racist/biased person in May comb County. Because of so much prejudice people he was found guilty. It was so obvious that Tom didn't rape her especially when she gave a subsequent look to the audience and froze on the witness stand not anwerng to anything. I think the whole Mayella part of the book was a fraud to black people, its really sad how he was found guilty with all the good proof Atticus gave that he wasn't... I mean seriuosly he was against the pauper Ewells you'd expect anyone to be higher than them.

The book has to do with race not only because of the court case part but also I think how Scout and Jem don't hang out or have any black friends besides Calpurnia [who is there maid +nanny] they live in a white neighborhood and go to white people churchs. Everything in the book has something to with race one way or another...the other options are class, gender, comng of age, and place.. I chose race... and I think I'm right. All the other options were kind of irrelevant they only had this tiny part do with in the book. Between these options the most right one was race.
