Chapters 4-7
Perspective of Miss Maude Atkins
Dear diary,
Charles Harris is back. Jeremy and Jean Louise have been with him...playing around. They always seem to be planning something to do with the Radleys, a week ago I heard them performing what seemed like a skit about Arthur and his parents. don't know if I did right in telling Jean Louise about Arthur she seemed much to interested in that house. Luckily I dragged her away by offering her some cake. Those kids best get themselves our of trouble, if I told Attcius what I know they been up to... all three would be licked. Poor Charles Harris almost got in trouble that night they snuck into the Radleys house, I saw Mr. Radley fold and sow Jeremey's pants... I waited and there I saw Jeremy running like at two in the morning to retreive his pants.
I am irked by how many times those kids have tried to find out whether Arthur will come out or not, they should mind their own bussness... more if this malevolent behavior and I will mistake them for Miss Stephanie. I still can't think of how to make them stop doing this, but I know I'll think of seomthing... perhaps a compromise with the three of them... but this will have to wait for the next summer Charles returns. For now I'll just have to avoid talking to them about the Radleys.
It is indigneous for kids to be curoius about soemthing like the Radleys from all the rumors that Miss Stephanie had made up... but I still think they should stop and just mind their own bussness. When Charles returns I will prove to them that the Radleys boy is alive and that they are a normal family just have had rough times. I will somehow make them leave the Radleys alone, and stop asking me questions. If they persevere on their subject of Radley life then I have no choice but to leave them...they'll find out someday. This old ladys getting tired I think I will write later...

I love your entry! You sound exactly like Ms. Maudie. You definetly stayed in character and made it sound like a journal that she wrote instead of you. I am definetly going to have to use that when writing my next journal entry. I also think that you did a great job at including the vocab in a context that is relevent to what you were writing about.
